To the pedestrian reader
endowed with appetite.
Logical atomism suggests
Language mirrors reality;
A picture can say a thousand
words, but words conceal as
much as they reveal.
Thus language mirrors the haystack
But conceals the needle.
To whit, in wonder as a wanderer,
A curious muse beckons, to find
The experience of a tree.
I have no words for that,
But like a bird in love with a bird
All I can do is sing a sweet song.
